About the speaker

 

Dr. Guenter Edlinger, CEO of Guger Technologies, attained his M.Sc in Control Engineering in 1992 and received his Ph.D in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from University of Technology, Graz, Austria.

 

He was an Assistant Professor with the Institute of Biomedical Engineering of Austria since 1993. In 1999, he co-founded Guger Technologies which subsequently won the GEWINN Award for Innovation in 2001.

 

He has also published various papers in the area of Biomedical Engineering. He has also been invited to speak at the International DSP conference in Stuttgart in 2003 for a talk on Biosignal Processing.
