Powered by the world strongest Math
Behind MapleSim lies the power of Maple, the world’s strongest math engine. As a MapleSim User, you will
benefit in a variety of ways from over 20 years of research and development that have gone into the Maple
product.

Learn More About Using MapleSim and Simulink
While MapleSim™ offers many advantages over Simulink®, Maplesoft™ also offers solutions that allows you to
enhance and extend your Simulink models by integrating MapleSim’s high-performance, multi-domain environment
into your existing toolchain. By including MapleSim in your development process.

Tunable RF Modules
This RF module is a tunable, RF, analog front end
designed for Lyrtech small form factor (SFF)
software defined-radio (SDR) development
platforms.  The modules covers low band
(0.2–1.0 GHz) or high-band (1.6–2.3 GHz)
frequencies and when it is combined with the
SFF SDR evaluation module and ADACMaster III module (high-speed AD/DA board), the whole becomes
a complete and integrated hardware and software development solution for a wide range of software-
defined radio applications.

WIMAX RF Module
The WiMAX RF module is a WiMAX, RF, analog
front end for Lyrtech small form factor (SFF)
software defined-radio (SDR) development
platforms.  The module is designed to cover the
WiMAX 2.5-GHz  band (2.3–2.5 GHz)
or the WiMAX 3.5-GHz band (3.4–3.6 GHz) and
when it is combined with the SFF SDR
evaluation module and ADACMaster III module (high-speed AD/DA board), the whole becomes a
complete and integrated hardware and software development solution for advanced WiMAX
development. When you use the 2.3–2.5-GHz band, it is also possible to develope RFID/ bluetooth
(PAN—2.4 GHz) applications with the SFF SDR development platform.

Leading car manufacturer Renault solves unwanted engine noise and vibration using Maple

When an engine stops, several engine components take part in the process. Components can produce unwanted
noise and vibrations when the engine slows down, which can lead to their deterioration. Jean-Louis Ligier, a
Research and Development manager at Renault, and his team were tasked with determining the sources of these
noises and vibrations in a 2.2 liter 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine. They found Maple™ to be the most efficient tool
to model the engine and determine the source of the unwanted noise. More importantly, they also used Maple to
determine a solution to the problem.

Exploring Chaos and Dynamical Systems with MapleSim

Dr. Stephen Lynch is a world class leader in the use of mathematical software in teaching and learning, and a
renowned expert on dynamical systems and their applications. He teaches a range of courses at Manchester
Metropolitan University in the UK, and has been nominated for a second time by MMU for a National Teaching
Fellowship in recognition of his excellence in teaching at the higher education level.

Multiphysics Simulation

Learn how multiphysics simulations enable innovative technology organizations to advance their product development beyond the ordinary. This webinar introduces you to a wide range of challenging design problems that are solved by applying multiphysics modeling and simulation techniques. A hands-on tutorial demonstrates the work-flow in the design of a MEMS device including the coupling of electromagnetic, structural mechanics, and heat transfer phenomena in the same simulation

Multiphysics simulation - the new pacemaker of EM design

The breakthrough of multiphysics modeling techniques is widening the EM designer's scope to create new product concepts. Multiphysics empowers its users to be innovative in applications ranging from semiconductors to oil exploration. Sponsored by COMSOL, this webinar introduces you to applying multiphysics modeling techniques to EM analysis.
