     MapleSim™ 2 introduces extraordinary 3-D visualization and animation tools, results
     management tools, and a new component library.
    

      3-D Visualization and Animations

      With MapleSim 2, you can easily transform your multibody models into realistic
      animations. These animations make it substantially easier to validate the system
      diagram and give greater insight into your system behavior. Because the animations are
      comprehensible to a wider audience, they can even help make your project presentations 
      more effective.
 
  • Multibody mechanisms are automatically rendered as “ball and stick” 3-D models                      for easy visualization of the topology and dynamic behavior of your system.                                No extra steps are required.
  •  You can add more realism to animations by providing STL 3-D shape files from CAD                systems for the components.
  • Playback controls, including a slider for frame-by-frame control of the animation,                   make it easy to closely examine significant behavior.
  • Camera motion controls, such as panning, zooming, tumbling, and tracking, let you                focus on areas of interest.
  •  Force and torque vector indicators are included in the animation to aid in the                    interpretation of the system behavior.
  •  A path tracking component allows you to trace the motion of a point of interest in                     the animation.
 
        Result Management
      Managing results from multiple simulations can be tedious and confusing. MapleSim
      simplifies this task and reduces the risk of mistakes by providing tools to manage these
      results.
 
  • Results from each simulation are saved and given a unique identifier, allowing easy           access to all results.
  • Previously generated simulation graphs and animations can be viewed without                            re-executing simulations.
  • Results from different simulations can be placed side-by-side or overlaid for easy                comparison.
  • Simulation results can by manually or automatically stored with the model, so they                remain accessible from one MapleSim session to another.
  • Results can be given meaningful descriptions, deleted, and exported to data files.

      Hydraulic Components

      MapleSim 2 extends the scope of your modeling capability into hydraulics with a library
      of essential components for creating models of hydraulic devices and circuits, including
