Our 1st Maple Day in Taiwan was
launched with great success, on 29th September 2007.
Our Application Engineer, Mr Frankie
Tiong showcased how Maple 11 Smart documentation – a powerful word
processor environment with Math Engine enhanced is able to make the
Mathematics alive. In addition, two of our Maple® users showed how
Maple help in their Mathematics teaching.
Prof Chiu Bo-Yuan of Chung Yuan
Christian University, impressed the crowd with his illustration
of Maple as the math teaching material, thereby giving students and
lecturers a better appreciation of how Maple can be utilize in their
curriculum.
Prof Chuan Jen-Chung of National
Tsing Hwa University, on the other hand, show-cased how technology
help to improve the math teaching, giving better visualization to the
student. He also cited Maple as one of the better tool.
Lastly, I-Math Application
Engineer, Mr. Frankie Tiong demoed how Maple TA 3.0 can help in
online-test and assessment. He emphasized that Maple TA 3.0 is not a
normal web-testing system, but come with artificial intelligent,
powered by maple 11 engine.
